The Webster Family Library offers instruction on library related subjects and the use of applications supported by Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Library related classes are designed to help faculty, students and staff of the Cummings School become proficient in using the electronic tools available to them as well as enhancing information seeking skills in general. Instruction is offered via pre-registered classes, drop in workshops, tours and classes designed for specific faculty purposes.
Online Software Training
Tufts students, faculty, and staff now have unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning, an online subscription library that teaches the latest software, creative, and business skills through high-quality instructional videos. The Online Training Library provides access to thousands of hours of instruction, free of charge, 24-hours a day. Read more about LinkedIn Learning.
Faculty may request instruction that is customized for the participants in a course or selective. This may be appropriate if the course or selective content expands beyond the field of clinical veterinary medicine in a traditional sense. Examples of services include instruction on searching specific databases, introduction to appropriate reference books, development of topical bibliographies by the Education Services Librarian. If you have an idea you would like to discuss please contact the Library Manager.
You can make an appointment for different levels of instruction if you would like to spend more time with a library staff member. The Webster Family Library staff is also happy to meet with you to answer questions or provide a library orientation. Please contact the Library Manager for further information.
