Conflict of Interest

Wednesday, March 11, 2026- 2pm-3pm

An overview of Conflicts of Interest (COI), including the elements and types of conflict, their potential impacts on the conduct and objectivity of research, and Tufts policies and processes involving the disclosure and mitigation of COI.

 

Human Subjects Research Ethics, Regulatory Compliance, and the IRB Submission Process

Thursday, March 19, 2026- 2pm-3pm

This interactive workshop aims to contextualize and demystify the work of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) through a discussion of the basic ethical principles and practices that underlie the responsible conduct of human subjects research.

 

Developing Positive Mentor/Mentee Relationships

Wednesday, March 25, 2026- 2pm-3pm

This discussion-based workshop will focus on critical aspects of the mentee/mentor relationship. Topics will include mentorship roles, developing successful mentorship relationships, mentorship tools, setting expectations, and strategies for developing your own mentoring style.
