The Webster Family Library is intended for the use of students, faculty and staff of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
Library Exam Policy
When the second year, third year, or both DVM students have exams on the same day, only exam takers are allowed in the library until noon. The exception to this policy is when users have quick business in the library such as: printing, checking out laptops, and asking reference questions or quietly studying in the library. While this policy may displace potential library users, its purpose is to ensure enough seats for test-takers and to minimize disruptions to these same students.
Visitors
Cummings Veterinary Medical Center clients and people unaffiliated with Tufts may visit the library and use materials needed for professional or scholarly research purposes, on-site only. Exceptions are made for ARC and BLC members with a valid member ID, and Webster Family Library Special Users.
Visitors unaffiliated with Tufts should contact the library in advance to schedule an appointment (weekdays between 9 AM and 5 PM) to ensure staff availability and to arrange for parking with the campus police.
Research services and delivery of articles are available for a fee.
