Vet-Library Subscription

With the start of the semester, I wanted to remind our community that Webster Family Library has an institutional subscription to Vet-Library, a library of digital veterinary books in PDF format. As a subscriber, we are able to download as many free documents as we like.

E-Book Update 2020

Here are some of the electronic books we've recently purchased, in order to better support the clinical rotations and our current online curriculum. There are some really good additions to our collection! Please note that not all of the books have unlimited simultaneous user licenses.

Plumb's Veterinary Drugs (2015)

Plumb's Veterinary Drugs is a wonderful online resource to have. It is one of the places to look up veterinary drugs. You can search by drug, class name, alias, or browse alphabetically. You have to be on campus, using VPN or VDI to access it. Register your computer and then bookmark PVD. Plumb's is also available through the VIN Library. Looking for other animal drug resources? Try some of these resources:

New E-Books 2014 (some of which are newer than others)

Happy New Year! I would like to highlight the 16 electronic books we just bought, plus some that will be coming in 2015. In addition to the books the Veterinary Library buys, the Tufts Libraries buy thousands of electronic books each year, too many to list here. Links to our electronic books are in the Tufts Library Catalog and in JumboSearch.

E-Book Update 2013

Here  is a list of the recent Veterinary Library electronic book purchases. Some of them aren't very new, but they were requested by faculty for their courses, or strongly recommended. We can't buy all of the books we would like,  but we welcome all suggestions!
